Another Special Saturday Edition...

I saw in the paper the other day that a special horse has died.
Real Quiet, the 1998 Derby winner.
I have a funny story about that Derby. We were all over Wayne's house as we usually are on Derby Day and we drew names out of a hat for a "Derby Pot". It is usually worth about $80.00. Wayne drew Real Quiet's name and kept going around saying,"Shush...Real Quiet."
Rodney went to the track to place our bets (this is way before I started working there) and all was good. Seems that Wayne had gave Rodney a bet of $2.00 across the board on Real Quiet.
To make a long story short...That horse won, paid a lot of money and Wayne was ecstatic...until Rodney called and said he didn't make it in time to place the bet.
...the house got "Real Quiet...
