I am remembering back to 2002, when I first discovered that I was diabetic...
I thought I was healthy. Not taking anything stronger than an aspirin.
Things have changed in 2010...
I am now taking two pills for the diabetes, Metformin and Glipizide. I am also taking Hydrochlorizide and Simavastin and Metoprolol for high chloresterol and blood pressure.
Oh yeah...I am still taking an aspirin per day.
Now, I am not complaining, they have worked wonders on me...it is just amazing to me how fast things can change in one's life.
The smartest thing I ever did was to get a primary physician and get checked out a regular basis. As we get older this is essential.
