I am a big fan of taking pictures. I have a digital camera and an "old-fashioned" film one. (I prefer the film camera),
I have pictures of family and special events all over the walls of my living room and a few in the hall and bedroom.
I have a picture of my entire set of brothers and sister. It was taken at my sister Tenita's house in Glasgow, KY. It was the last shots that features Larry, who passed away in 2008...
I have a photo of Mama taken in I guess the 1950's...she is standing in front of a motel dressed in a poodle skirt. Beautiful lady.
I have pics of Daddy sitting in the last car he ever owned...a tan Ford. He was really proud of that vehicle.
I also have photos of my kids and grandkids and old friends...I even have a pic of my brother Wayne accepting a hand shake from President Bill Clinton. I even have photos sent to me by Leah Remini...one of the stars of "The King of Queens" TV show.
I have a few articles that were printed in the Courier-Journal framed and hanging in the hallway and a big one of my niece Kina graduating high school and college.
There's something about pictures...they truly do speak a thousand words.
