Just heard the news that the former U of L center will be signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers today.
This is good news for him because although he left school early to try the NBA, he wasn't drafted.
I always liked the guy but he seemed a little soft to me. Apparently he turned it on during the NBA Summer Leagues.
I hate to see him at the Cavs without "You-Know-Who", but he will defintely help the team and he will be able to provide his family with much needed financial help.
Good Luck, Samardo...though I would rather see you in a Cards uniform...
