I have been reading the story in today's paper about Daniel Covington...the former U of L football player that was killed by Isaiah Howe, the former U of L baseball player.
A couple of things stood out to me...
No.1, Covington didn't have a criminal record what so ever...
Nothing...zilch...nada...
On the other hand Howe has a laundry list of criminal transgressions. Let me count the ways...in 2004, carrying a concealed deadly weapon ...pocession of alcohol by a minor...driving on an expired license...police found a bottle of gin and a hunting knife under his seat.
Last year he was charged with alcohol intoxication, among other offenses.
He got belligerant with a police officer and told him "They couldn't do anything to him cause his father is an attorney..."
Hmmmm...
Howe has said the shooting was "self-defense", but in all reality...
I think something stinks.
