I have always loved to write.
Poetry, short stories, news articles, editorials...you name it, I'll write it.
I get ideas out of the blue...I just finished sending a poem off to the Saturday Evening Post magazine. It was about an embarrassing incident that happened when I was a teenager. The thing just popped in my head, so I wrote it.
Strange how this happens...maybe I have a talent? Who knows...
I have been writing for over 40 years. I remember when I was 10 I had a crush on an elementary school teacher whose name was Mrs. Krugler. I wrote her a poem to the tune of "Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be In Carolina."
I still remember it...
"Nothing could be gooder than to be with Mrs. Krugler in the morning..."
I never said I was Edgar Allen Poe...
