Not Write...

A headline in my local paper announced "Cursive Writing Is A Fading Skill." ("Schools Cut Back On Instruction As Students Do More Work On Computers")
The story was about how the fine art of penmanship is a dying art.
Sad.
I remember when I was in elementary school( many years ago) and we HAD to learn how to write in cursive and how to print. I must admit, however that I hardly ever cursive write anymore. I always print. The only cursive I do is when I sign my signature.
Everything is done on computers these days. texting, word processing, e-mails...
I still think that penmanship is a greatly needed skill and I would hate to see it eliminated.;
