I became a Mike Jackson in the early 1970's when he sang with the Jackson 5. I had three brothers and a sister so we always pretended to be them. Me...I was always Michael.
How could you not like this band? Songs like "I Want You Back", 'I'll Be There", "ABC", "Dancing Machine" and 'Body."
Michael's solo career was unheard of. The "Thriller" album becoming the #1 album in sales in music history. His impact on the video world, and his popularity nation-wide.
Incredible.
There was also the nose jobs, accusations of pedophilia, and the other tabloid junk, but all that still doesn't take away from the genius of Michael.. That personal stuff is between him and his God.
We are gonna miss you Michael, but I am sure glad we had a chance to experience your moon walking magic.
