Man, oh man, oh man. Here we go again.
Yesterday had to be one of the worst days in the history of University of Kentucky sports.
The new coach of the men's basketball team John Calapri's previous team, the Memphis Tigers announced they were being investigated by the NCAA for "major violations." One involves a player , presumably Derrick Rose, cheating on an entrance exam, and the other concerns unauthorized passengers on a team flight.
If all that wasn't enough UK also discovered that they were being sued by former coach Billy Gillespie...
This is not the forst time that Coach C. has been involved in this sort of predicament. It also happened at UMass when he was coach....
Hmmmmmm...
Of course he is not being named in any allegation, although he is being asked to a hearing on June 6.
I say something stinks. He WAS the head coach, He should be held responsible.
I will keep an eye on this story.
